About

The firm attorneys turn to when digital evidence matters.

E-Hounds, Inc. has been doing this work since 1998. Serving attorneys across Florida and the Eastern Seaboard - with an active client base in DC, New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee - on matters where the digital record decides the case.

Who We Are

A firm built around the expert, not the tool.

E-Hounds was founded in Palm Harbor, Florida. From the first engagements in the late 1990s through the cases we handle today, the practice has been grounded in one premise: a forensic finding is only as good as the expert who can explain and defend it.

E-Hounds analysts hold over 250 court qualifications across state and federal jurisdictions, with founder Adam Sharp personally qualified in more than 180 matters. The work ranges from intellectual property disputes and receiver-controlled estates to sensitive criminal matters. We have worked with federal enforcement agencies, court-appointed receivers, corporate legal departments, and the defense bar. The work itself has not changed much in character; the surfaces have. Where we once examined a single hard drive, we now examine servers, endpoints, cloud platforms, mobile devices, and increasingly, AI-generated content.

What has not changed is the discipline. Every matter is preserved under chain of custody. Every finding is tied to reproducible methodology. Every expert stands behind the work at deposition and trial.

Matter Types

What the work looks like in practice.

A cross-section of engagement types over the years. Most involve more than one of our service lines. Every one of them hinged on a digital record that required forensic discipline to produce as evidence.

  • Bankruptcy and receivership
  • SEC, CFTC, and FTC enforcement matters
  • Assignments for the benefit of creditors
  • Expert witness testimony in civil and criminal courts
  • Intellectual property theft and copyright infringement
  • Product liability class actions
  • Medical malpractice and electronic medical records
  • Family law and marital matters
  • Tax fraud and mortgage fraud matters
  • Wrongful termination and employment disputes
  • Network intrusion and compromise assessment
  • Sensitive criminal matters handled with full discretion

Our Posture

Discreet by default.

We do not publish detailed team biographies on this site. Our experts testify in contested matters and cross-examination draws on every public data point an expert leaves behind. The engagement is what we share openly; the personnel and process details are scoped to the attorney relationship.

We do not publish a blog. Writing about techniques in public creates friction in adverse proceedings that does not serve our clients. Our case work speaks for itself, in the jurisdictions where it matters.

We operate our own on-premise platform. We do not share, sell, or disclose client communications or evidence to any third party. Discretion is not a feature of an engagement with us; it is the default condition of every engagement we take.
