Platform Security
Protecting your most sensitive case data.
E-Hounds operates a fully self-hosted eDiscovery and digital forensics platform built on iConect Xera, a SOC 2 Type II certified system. Your case data never touches a third-party cloud. Every byte lives on hardware we own, in facilities we control, secured by layers of protection designed for the most sensitive civil and criminal litigation.
Infrastructure
On-premise only.
Cloud Exposure
Zero.
Access Control
You control it.
Security Architecture
Six layers, documented and auditable.
On-premise infrastructure
Your data resides exclusively on E-Hounds-owned servers. No AWS. No Azure. No third-party cloud. Physical and logical control never leaves our facility.
Encryption at rest
All stored case data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Even in the unlikely event of physical media theft, your data remains unreadable.
Two-factor authentication
Every login to the platform requires a second verification step beyond your password. Stolen credentials alone cannot access your case data.
Role-based access control
Granular permissions ensure reviewers see only the documents they are authorized to access. Full audit trails track every action within the platform.
Secure file transfer
Evidence intake and delivery run through our internally hosted encrypted transfer system. No consumer-grade file sharing services are used.
Penetration tested
The platform undergoes regular application security testing using professional tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities proactively.
Compliance Alignment
Built for regulated and sensitive work.
The platform and its operating procedures are aligned with the frameworks corporate legal departments, federal agencies, and receivers regularly require.
- SOC 2 Type II
- iConect platform independently certified for security, availability, and confidentiality controls.
- FISMA / NIST 800-53
